How do I scan a barcode?

To scan your barcode, go to “Rewards” at the bottom of your app screen.  Go to “Scan to Earn” and either scan or enter the barcode here.  Should the receipt be 7 days or older or for some other reason not scan, please send us a picture of the receipt to We are happy to add the points for you.

I’m scanning the barcode on my receipt, but it’s not working. Why?

The barcode expires after 7 days. If you have your receipt, we can still add your points manually. Please email a photo of the receipt to

Do points expire?

Points only expire if there is no activity in your account for one year. This means members need to complete at least one transaction every 356 days that is also captured within your Mad Rewards account. You can do this by placing an online or app order with account, have a cashier help you check-in in shop, or scan a barcode in the app from an in-shop purchase receipt.

Do coupons expire?

You can see the expiration date in the Rewards section of the app under the image for the offer.

How do I see my point history?

To see points earned or items gifted, open your app and select “More” at the bottom of the screen then select “HISTORY”.

How to I check to see if points were added to my account?

To double-check your points added to your account, open your app and select “More” at the bottom of the screen, then select “History”.

How do I redeem an offer in the app?

Redeem Online: add the offer’s qualifying items to your cart and proceed to “Make a Payment” then select “Redeem” and select the offer you would like to redeem.

Redeem In-Shop: Open the app. Click on “Rewards” on the bottom menu if you’re not already on that screen. Click “Redeem Rewards” then scroll through your available offers. Or, the cashier can look up your available rewards with your email or phone number, then apply them during your purchase.

How do I redeem a (mailer) coupon in the app?

Not all physical paper offers are useable in the app or online. Some are only valid at the shop. Each coupon should specify in the small print on the offer how it can be redeemed. If it is available online or in the app, there should be a 4-digit code printed on the coupon that can be entered on the “Make a Payment” screen. Look for “Apply coupon code” and enter the code from the coupon. Then hit “Apply”.

My order wasn't delivered, what should I do now?

If you ordered directly through the app or online, email us at If you ordered through a 3rd party delivery company like Uber Eats or Door Dash, you will need to reach out to them directly.

I clicked redeem on a coupon by accident and now it will expire in 1 hour, how do I get it back?

If you clicked redeem by accident, never fear! Your offer is still in your account and will reappear at the end of that hour.

I would like to split payment, am I able to do this?

You can split a payment between multiple credit cards or gift cards or a combination of payment methods. In the app, on the Payment Method screen, look for Split Payment to the right of Select a method of payment. Toggle the Split Payment option to the right, then select or add your first form of payment. You can then select “tap to edit” to change the amount you’d like charged to that card or gift card. Your remaining balance will be shown at the very bottom. Then add the next new payment option to cover the reminder or select your already saved method of payment to do the same.
