The focus of the employee incentive contest will be on increasing app downloads and growing our Mad Rewards membership. Since customers need to be Mad Rewards members to receive the special offer for National Chicken Teriyaki Day (NCTD), team members should ask EVERY CUSTOMER if they are part of our Mad Rewards program and encourage those who aren’t members to download the app!

We’re also offering a special prize to the three shops with the greatest number of reviews (good, bad, or neutral) gained for the entire quarter. Each Team Member at the three winning shops will receive a custom TMAD Swag Item.

We’re also offering a second contest focuses on the Mad Dash service, recognizing the three shops with the lowest Mad Dash wait times each week during the Launch 4 window.

Each week, the top three shops with the lowest average wait time will be awarded $50. Winners will be announced every week in Teriyaki Tuesday! Over the course of the quarter, each shop has the opportunity to win up to $750. To ensure fairness, each round will “reset,” giving all teams a chance to win every week.

CASHIER TIPS & TRICKS

To encourage customers to download the app or join Mad Rewards to start earning points and receive exclusive offers like the one for National Chicken Teriyaki Day, Cashiers should

Ask each guest at checkout if they have our TMAD app or a Mad Rewards account.
If the guests don’t have an account, direct them to the App store or Google store to download.

Contest Information/Procedures

Every two weeks, TMAD will pull a report of new Mad Rewards accounts created
The three shops with the most downloads every two weeks will win $300, $200, or $100
Each round will “reset”, so that there is an even playing field and teams have the opportunity to win every two weeks!
Winners will be determined every two weeks through 01/07/2025 and announced in the Friday Memo – winning shops should meet as a team to determine how to use their winnings (split the cash, hold a team party or event, etc.)
The top three shops with the most MAD REWARDS accounts created at the end of the quarter wins an additional prize – custom TMAD branded item for the entire team
NEW SHOPS that opened within four months of 10/2/2024 or after the start of the contest are NOT ELIGIBLE for the contest due to the marketing efforts pushing people to download the app for your grand opening and first few months.
