Employee Incentive Contests have become a terrific way to encourage team members to engage with customers and impact sales in shops. Getting reviews – positive, negative, or neutral – is crucial for your restaurant business.
That’s why we are running an employee incentive contest to increase reviews for their shop. Reviews provide critical feedback for your shop, offering insights and opportunities to enhance customer experience, improve operations, and build a strong, trustworthy brand presence in your community.
In addition to the bi-weekly contest, we will also offer a special prize to the three shops that have the largest percent increase in combos sold for the entire quarter. Each Team Member at the three winning shops will receive a custom TMAD Swag Item.

CASHIER TIPS & TRICKS
1. First, greet the customer with WELCOME TO TMAD!

Give a great customer experience during the ordering process.
2. Ask each guest politely for feedback as they pay

“We’d love to hear about your experience today, would you mind leaving us a review?”

If the guests say “Sure!” point them to the QR code where they can leave a review.
Contest Information/Procedures
- Every two weeks, TMAD will pull a report of the most reviews gained for each location.
- The top three shops with the most online reviews through SOCi for that two-week period win $300, $200, and $100.
- Each round will “reset,” so that there is an even playing field and all teams have the opportunity to win every two weeks!
- Winners announced every two weeks through 9/30/2024 and announced in Friday Memo.
- Winning shops should meet as a team to determine how they want to use their winnings (split the cash, hold a team party, host a team event, etc.)
- A complete list of rules (along with valuable tips to get customers to download the app) is available via the QR code on the BOH poster
