There’s a new restaurant coming to Madison, Alabama this week – Teriyaki Madness.

Earlier this week, I received a very generous invitation to attend a sneak peek at Teriyaki Madness. The location in Madison is the very first one in the state of Alabama, making this an extra special treat.

At this preview event, we weren’t just give one dish to try, but rather we were served family-style. We were brought several of their signature dishes to enjoy, from egg rolls and pot stickers to beef teriyaki and spicy chicken.

Everything is made to order, including the fried rice. Don’t like egg in your fried rice? They can leave it out. Every bowl is customizable to your tastes.

Veggies can come steamed or stir fried, and each bowl is served with your choice of white rice, brown rice, fried rice or Japanese noodles.

There are nine different sauces to choose from, and all are made in house.

I honestly had a hard time determining what my favorite dish was, of the many we sampled. I think this one may have taken the prize though. Ordinarily I am not a “spicy” person, because I am pretty wimpy about it, but this? It was right at the top of my comfort level and the flavor was amazing. Yep, Spicy Chicken with noodles was my favorite.

Teriyaki Madness officially opens for business on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018. Mr. Smith has already decided that we will be having a lunch date there soon.
