CASHIER TIPS & TRICKS

To help encourage Mad Reward sign-ups, Cashiers should:

Ask each guest at checkout if they have our TMAD app or have a MAD REWARDS account.
If not, direct them to the app store or google store to download (or they can create an account on our Teriyaki Madness website)
Be sure to hand them the Customer Receipt (with the barcode on the bottom) – not the Merchant Receipt (which doesn’t have the barcode). Then point out the barcode at the bottom that they can scan with their app to get points and credit for that visit.
During table touches or slower times, visit guests at the tables and ask if they have the App or a MAD REWARDS account. Tell them the benefits – earn points, get free food & exclusive offers, order ahead for pickup or delivery, save favorite orders, and more!

Every two weeks, TMAD will pull a report of new Mad Rewards accounts created
The three shops with the most downloads every two weeks will win $300, $200, or $100
Each round will “reset”, so that there is an even playing field and teams have the opportunity to win every two weeks!
Winners will be announced every two weeks though January 7, 2025 and announced in the Friday Memo.
Winning shops should meet as a team to determine how they want to use their winnings (split the cash, hold a team party, host a team event, etc.).
